On February 6th, 2017 Youngsters F.C, Chandigarh played Goalless draw with Mohammedan Sporting FC, Kolkata, in the on going final round of U-16 Youth I- League, at Cooperage football ground,Mumbai.
The match started on a fast pace as Amanpreet of Youngsters FC missed an opportunity in the 10th minute of the match by missed a sitter again in the 17th minute of the game Rohit Sheikh and Amanpreet combined well and beat the opponent defence through wall pass an attempt of Rohit Sheikh hit the cross bar. Youngsters FC showed their supremacy in the field and had more ball posession throughout the match.
In the second half of the match Yongsters F.C made some good attempts on the Mohd. Sporting FC goel but weak finishing kept them away to score. Match was ended in a goalless draw.
Youngsters couldn’t qualify for the semi -finals due to goal difference as Shillong Lajong FC scored 2 more goals than Youngsters FC, as both the teams shared equal number of point 5 – 5
