Youngsters Football Club Chandigarh in association with New Public School, Sector 18, Chandigarh celebrated the A.F.C. (Asian Football Confederation) Grassroots Festival at Football Ground of New Public School today i.e. on 15th May, 2016. Sh. R.D. Singh, Principal New Public School inaugurated the Grassroots Festival. The club received the Overwhelming response from the Players and parents as well. 478 kids/Players from Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula have participated in it. The Participated kids tasted the flavor of football skills under the guidance of legendary football player and coach Sh. Harjinder Singh recipient of Maharaja Ranjit Singh Award and he has represented the country number of years including Captaining the All Star Asian Football Team.
After the Grassroot Festival, Participating players were given refreshment.
